dc.descriptionExpone sobre los 500 años de evangelización de América y los estudios que hay, según la perspectiva del autor, con diversos análisis y posiciones, como que la evangelización de las culturas amerindias fue posible y hasta real, o que no se logró, o que fue un éxito y una realidad histórica y cultural.. Señala que las posiciones no se percatan del hecho de que la evangelización de las culturas amerindias fue imposible, en lo que constituye como una cultura específica, su estructura y su alma, y su forma paradigmática de ser. Fue una transculturación más o menos lograda. Entre cristianismo y visión mítica del mundo, la convivencia no era posible, porque se trataba de dos visiones del mundo y sociedades muy diferentes.-
