| dc.description | La tesis pretende determinar si el afloramiento de economías de aglomeración y el surgimiento de economías externas en la dinámica de las empresas de la Fortuna de San Carlos, han favorecido la formación de un cluster alrededor de la actividad turística, y de qué manera este ha contribuido al desarrollo local. Igualmente, el estudio pretende determinar si los procesos de innovación originados al interior de las empresas que conforman el cluster, contribuyen a la mejora de competitividad del mismo. Esta investigación ha sido realizada sobre la base de datos recolectados por medio de entrevistas estructuradas, dirigidas a empresarios, trabajadores ligados a la actividad turística, así como a diversas organizaciones locales, elegidas a través de una muestra intencional. En total se entrevistaron, 32 empresarios, 17 asalariados, y 10 organizaciones. El estudio permite concluir que en La Fortuna de San Carlos, se ha venido consolidando un cluster ecoturístico, donde los procesos de innovación, favorecidos por relaciones de competencia y cooperación, han contribuido a la mejora de la competitividad del cluster. Este cluster ha sido el artífice de los recientes procesos de desarrollo local que han tenido lugar en este distrito, los cuales han hecho posible movilizar las diferentes capacidades locales, generando diversas formas de emprendimiento, que han contribuido a mejorar la cantidad y calidad del empleo y en general el bienestar de esta comunidad. | - |
| dc.description | The thesis seeks to determine if the emergence of conglomeration economies and the appearance of external economies in the dynamics of the companies of San Carlos' Fortune, they have favored the formation of a cluster around the tourist activity, and of what way this it has contributed to the local development. Equally, the study seeks to determine if the innovation processes originated to the interior of the companies that conform the cluster, contribute to the improvement of competitiveness of the same one. This investigation has been carried out on the database gathered by means of structured interviews, directed to managers, workers of the tourist activity, as well as to diverse local organizations, elects through an intentional sample. In total they interviewed, 32 managers, 17 earners, and 10 organizations. The study allows conclude that in San Carlos' Fortune, it has been come consolidating a ecotuorist cluster, where the innovation processes, favored by competition relationships and cooperation, they have contributed to the improvement of the competitiveness of the cluster. This cluster has been the author of the recent processes of local development that have taken place in this district, which have made possible to mobilize the different local capacities, generating diverse work forms, that have contributed to improve the quantity and quality of the employment and in general the well-being of this community. | - |
