dc.descriptionTheater production in the city of Tandil, Buenos Aires, has been diverse and continuous since the beginning of the 20th century. However, dramaturgy was scarce or non-existent until the mid-1970s, when two playwrights: Raúl Echegaray (1953) and Julio Varela (1953) began their prolific and consequent careers in theater writing. Currently and since the beginning of the 21st century, local drama has increased and diversified. An example of this, among others, is the work of the playwrights María Elena Nemi and Catalina Landivar that we will present in the following work.en-US
dc.descriptionLa producción teatral tandilense desde principios del siglo XX ha sido diversa y continua. Sin embargo, la dramaturgia, fue escasa o nula durante buena parte del siglo XX, hasta que a mediados de la década de los setenta dos dramaturgos: Raúl Echegaray (1953) y Julio Varela (1953) iniciaron prolíficas y consecuentes trayectorias en escritura teatral. Actualmente y desde inicios del siglo XXI la dramaturgia local aumentó y se diversificó. Ejemplo de ello, entre otros, es la labor de las dramaturgas María Elena Nemi y Catalina Landivar que presentaremos en el siguiente trabajo.es-ES
