dc.descriptionThis paper develops the relationship between delinquency and insecurity and how, in the configuration of these terms, there is the stigma and its consequences. Concepts such as anomie and stigma of Merton and Goffman, respectively, are keys to the analysis of social structure in which the stigma is constructed. The methodology used was a case study where were interviewed residents of the area of Las Condes and Peñalolen to obtain their perceptions of delinquency and insecurity. Reference to their territorial and socio-cultural context, could be analyzed and then objectified, the ways in which stigma is expressed between normal and discredited.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo desarrolla la relación entre delincuencia e inseguridad y cómo, en la configuración de dichos términos, surge el estigma y sus consecuencias. Conceptos como anomia y estigma de Merton y Goffman respectivamente, resultan claves para el análisis de la estructura social en la cual se construye el estigma. La metodología utilizada fue un estudio de caso donde fueron entrevistados habitantes de las comunas de Las Condes y Peñalolén, para obtener sus percepciones respecto a delincuencia e inseguridad. Tomando como referencia su contexto territorial y sociocultural, pudieron ser analizadas y posteriormente objetivadas, las formas en que se manifiesta el estigma entre normales y desacreditados, buscando de este modo visualizar nuevas perspectivas hacia las problemática causadas por el estigma.es-ES
