dc.descriptionThis study intends to approach the relationship held by two of the most important families of the city of Popayan with General Simon Bolívar at the beginning of the 19th century. It particularly inquires about the interests those families had in their adherence to Bolivar’s Republic project; i.e., into a State with a strong executive power that was nearly solidified with a dictatorship.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo pretende estudiar las relaciones que tuvieron dos de las familias más importantes de la ciudad de Popayán a inicios del siglo xix con el general Simón Bolívar. Particularmente, hace una pesquisa sobre cuál era el interés de la adhesión de estas familias al proyecto bolivariano de República, es decir, a un Estado con un ejecutivo fuerte, que en buena parte se quiso cristalizar con la dictadura.es-ES
