| dc.description | This text deals with the tensions between the work of the teacher his/her status as intellectual, and the multiplicity of functions that have been assigned to the teacher by the various conceptions and practice of culture during the last two centuries in Colombia. The paper explores the subaltern statutes of the teacher through the character of "applicator" of knowledge and cultural ends that are applied through pedagogical knowledges as well as political-social projects; thus, three matrices can be traced to carry out the work of the teacher: the classic, the modern and the contemporary and the paper shows how -through hybridization- instead of the mutual substitution among these three "models", the teachers have constructed a rationality in terms of modes of being and active memory of their work. But, this has also produced a renewed sense of hierarchy in educative work, opposed increasingly by instructors and teachers, one as "theoretician" and the other "technician" of instruction. Thus, the paper proposes new analysis concerning the distinctive styles of the "theory-praxis" relationship that has made-up the actual countenance of the teacher and of contemporary Colombian culture. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este texto lidia con las tensiones entre el trabajo del maestro, su status como intelectual, y la multiplicidad de funciones que han sido asignadas al maestro por las varias concepciones y prácticas de cultura durante los últimos dos siglos en Colombia. El artículo explora los estatutos subalternos del maestro a través del carácter de “aplicador” de conocimiento y fines culturales que son aplicados a través de conocimientos pedagógicos así como proyectos socio-políticos; así, tres matrices pueden ser trazadas para llevar a cabo el trabajo del maestro: la clásica, la moderna y la contemporánea y el artículo muestra cómo –a través de la hibridación– en lugar de la mutua sustitución entre estos tres “modelos”, los maestros han construido una racionalidad en términos de modos de ser y memoria activa de su trabajo. Pero, esto también ha producido un renovado sentido de jerarquía en el trabajo educativo, opuesto cada vez más por instructores y maestros, uno como “teórico” y el otro como “técnico” de instrucción. Así, el artículo propone un nuevo análisis concerniendo los estilos distintivos de la relación “teórico-práctica” que ha inventado el actual semblante del maestro y de la cultura colombiana contemporánea. | es-ES |
