Descripción :	El municipio Madrid es una población con mucha riqueza cultural que se ha dejado lentamente a un lado para dar más importancia al comercio de las grandes empresas; cuenta con suficientes atractivos y recursos turísticos que no se aprovechan de la forma adecuada, y esto repercute en la economía local, pues los pequeños comerciantes se ven obligados a ofrecer sus productos a los residentes, mientras que los turistas empiezan a buscar otras poblaciones para visitar. Por eso se hace necesario identificar, conocer y plantear soluciones que permita mejorar la economía turística de la región. La actividad turística permite que el comercio se vea beneficiado por la necesidad de consumo de los visitantes que frecuentan las diferentes regiones; esto permite a los residentes y comerciantes tener oportunidades de ingresos económicos mediante la venta de productos y servicios que a la vez sirve de pauta publicitaria, ya que los visitantes satisfechos regresan y recomiendan los lugares a familiares y amigos. Por eso se hace necesario proteger y preservar los recursos y atractivos turísticos del municipio de Madrid Cundinamarca, puesto que su belleza y encanto se convierten en la clave para atraer turistas a la población. Universidad de Cundinamarca- Extensión Facatativá The Madrid municipality is a population with a lot of culture wealth that has slowly been left aside to give more importance to the commerce of large companies, has many attractions and tourist resources that are not being used properly and this has an impact on the local economy because small merchants are forced to offer their products to residents while tourists start looking for other towns to visit, so it is necessary to identify, know and propose solutions that improve the tourism economy of the region. The tourist activity allows the commerce to be benefited by the need of consumption of the visitors that frequent the different regions, this allows the residents and merchants to have opportunities of economic income by means of the sale of products and services that simultaneously serves as a guideline advertising since satisfied visitors return and recommend places to family and friends, so it is necessary to protect and preserve the resources and tourist attractions of the municipality of Madrid Cundinamarca since its beauty and charm become the key to attract tourists to the population.
