dc.descriptionThe objective of this research was to know the social representations of women whith students of fifth of primary, of a public institution of the city Tunja. It is a qualitative study, with ethnographic method, and using techniques: net of associations, focus groups and field journals. In this emerged nine categories: servile, lady, beautiful, woman wife, woman being a trademark, mother and protected. Through the study, the representation of women given mainly by biological characteristics is constructed, which, as Colín (2013) puts it, somehow determines their being in the world through the rules that exist for each sex. It also shows an identity construction based on socioculturally standardized societal parameters, which favors the maintenance of traditional power relations between the sexes (Lagarde, 2005), which generates subjection and discrimination towards the female gender, and rejection of others ways of being a woman.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo de esta investigación fue conocer las representaciones sociales de la mujer en estudiantes de quinto grado de una institución educativa pública de Tunja. Es un estudio cualitativo interpretativo. Se utilizaron las técnicas red de asociaciones, grupos focales y observación, a partir de lo cual emergieron cuatro categorías sobre la mujer: ser de otro, imagen pública, contestaria y ser sexual. Se logra constatar que la representación de la mujer se configura, principalmente, a partir de las características biológicas, que, como lo plantea Colín (2013), determinan su ser en el mundo; también se evidencia una construcción identitaria con base en los parámetros socioculturalmente normalizados, propiciando el mantenimiento de relaciones de poder entre los sexos (Lagarde, 2005), el sometimiento, la discriminación hacia lo femenino y el rechazo hacia otras formas de ser mujer.es-ES
