dc.descriptionThis formative research was conducted to understand the relationship between the stigma generated by a diagnosis of ADHD and the incidence of this in the identity process. The methodology used was a single case study, instrumental type with a child under thirteen years diagnosed with ADHD. The instruments used were the semi-structured interview and the non-participant observation; The interviews were conducted with two teachers, the minor, the mother and the psychologist of the institution. The results of the case show how  the  forms  of  social  differentiation,  which  mark  an  individual,  attribute  particular characteristics  that  stigmatize  it.  This  stigmatization  influences  how  the  individual  is forming his identity from what the social environment attributes to him; these attributions take them as their own, appropriates them and ends by "identifying" with it. Allowing to conclude that it is the experiences established at the family and school level that have the greatest relationship in the child's identity.en-US
dc.descriptionEsta investigación formativa se realizó para comprender la relación existente entre el estigma generado por un diagnóstico de TDAH y la incidencia de este en el proceso de identidad. La metodología utilizada fue un estudio de caso único, de tipo instrumental con un menor de trece años diagnosticado con TDAH. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron la entrevista semiestructurada y la observación no participante; las entrevistas se realizaron a dos docentes, al menor, a la madre y a la psicóloga de la institución. Los resultados del caso evidencian cómo las formas de diferenciación social, que marcan a un individuo, le atribuyen unas características particulares que lo estigmatizan. Dichas estigmatizaciones influyen en cómo el individuo va formando su identidad a partir de lo que el entorno social le atribuye; estas atribuciones las toma como suyas, se apropia de ellas y termina por “identificarse” con ello. Permitiendo concluir que son las vivencias establecidas a nivel familiar y escolar las que tienen mayor relación en la identidad del menor.es-ES
