Descripción : | This article addresses the subject of the construction of historical memory in the colombian context through the documentation of specific cases of victims of the armed conflict in the town of Liborina, Antioquia, in order to analyze the diversity of victimizations because of the conflict and damages and impacts on victims and their memory. The thesis that guides and shapes the writing is centered in the collection of life narratives which enable a reading of the conflict in a political way to display a view beyond contemplation, one that involves as inherent commitments the right to truth and the whole reparation under the fundamental premise that giving voice to the victims constitutes a hint of justice and a valuable contribution to memory reconstruction and peace consolidation.
The information and findings reported in this article are of vital importance to encourage social activism and to ensure that the few experiences collected reach a society, that often fails to acknowledge and naturalizes its tragedies, in order to find other ways and meanings of the initiatives of the recovery of memory in colombia, a concept that should go beyond legal, sociocultural and political connotations. |
