dc.descriptionThe article recognizes the existence and articulation of three sectors, the State, private enterprise and the social sector - the Third Sector - as social actors that play distinct but complementary roles and functions in fields such as political participation and the economic and social development of countries. The author describes each of the sectors and then discusses private enterprise and the third sector as parts of civil society, showing how the latter, in its articulation with the State, generates convergences and conflicts. Finally, he explains how public-private alliances and the formation of social capital increase relations between the three sectors and strengthen Civil Society.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo reconoce la existencia y articulación de tres sectores, el Estado, la empresa privada y el sector social - Tercer Sector-, como actores sociales que desempeñan funciones y roles distintos pero complementarios, en campos como la participación política y el desarrollo económico y social de los países. El autor describe a cada uno de los sectores y luego aborda la empresa privada y el tercer sector como partes de la sociedad civil, mostrando cómo ésta en su articulación con el Estado genera convergencias y conflictos. Por último, expone de qué manera las alianzas público-privadas y la formación de capital social incrementan las relaciones entre los tres sectores y fortalecen la Sociedad Civil.es-ES
