Who we are dedicated to education we have not been able to catch up day in content, procedures and educational practices that respond and take advantage of this dizzying technological transformation. And even less do it from a critical perspective. Of the three articles included in the central section dedicated to the topic Trends in education: challenges and opportunities for society, the first two (by Ramírez Arce the first and Briceño Montilla and Barrios Uzcátegui the second) are critical analysis of specific cases and the third is descriptive, although not devoid of interesten-US
dc.descriptionLas rápidas transformaciones de la vida social a nivel planetario provocadas por los avances tecnológicos en el campo de la información y la comunicación han dejado perpleja a la comunidad educativa. Quienes nos dedicamos a la educación no hemos sido capaces de ponernos al día en contenidos, procedimientos y prácticas educativas que respondany aprovechen esa vertiginosa transformación tecnológica. Y menos aún a hacerlo desde una perspectiva crítica. De los tres artículos incluidos en la sección central dedicada al tema Tendencias en educación: retos y oportunidades para la sociedad, los dos primeros (de Ramírez Arce el primero y de Briceño Montilla y Barrios Uzcátegui el segundo) son análisis críticos de casos concretos y el tercero es descriptivo, aunque no carente de interés.es-ES
