dc.descriptionThe article reflects on the academic and social contributions of what we call a feminist and participatory methodology, that is, one that articulates the foundations of gender theory with critical Latin American perspectives —IAP and popular education—. To do this, it describes and analyzes two field investigations in women’s prisons in Argentina and Mexico (2015-2020), highlighting the transformative potential this perspective has in the daily lives of women prisoners.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo reflexiona en torno a los aportes académicos y sociales de lo que se llama una metodología feminista y participativa; es decir, aquella que articula fundamentos de la teoría de género con perspectivas críticas latinoamericanas —Investigación-Acción Participativa (IAP) y educación popular—. Para ello, describe y analiza dos investigaciones de campo en cárceles femeninas de Argentina y México (2015-2020). Entre los hallazgos, se destaca el valor crítico y la posibilidad transformadora de dicha metodología en la cotidianeidad de las mujeres presas.es-ES
