dc.descriptionThis paper proposes to address the context and application of the Economic Stabilization and Structural Adjustment Plans (saps) implemented in the African continent during the 1980s. The aim of this work is to dialogue with three facets of analysis, based on the literature and the reports on the subject: globalization, indebtedness, and implementation of economic stabilization plans. To do this, different works on the subject are analyzed and contrasted according to the structure of the proposal. It has been found that the sapsconstitute a first order element to explain part of the economic future in the region. en-US
dc.descriptionEn el presente trabajo se propone abordar el contexto y la aplicación de los Planes de Estabilización Económica y Ajuste Estructural (paes) implementados en el continente africano durante la década del 80. El objetivo de este trabajo es poner en diálogo tres facetas de análisis en torno a la literatura y los informes sobre el tema: globalización, endeudamiento y aplicación de planes de estabilización económica. Para ello se analizan y contrastan diferentes trabajos sobre el tema obedeciendo a la estructura de la propuesta. Se ha podido constatar que los paes constituyen un elemento de primer orden para explicar parte del devenir económico en la región.es-ES
