dc.descriptionEn el siguiente artículo se analiza la impronta cultural de los inmigrantes europeos, asiáticos y afrocaribeños en la conformación de la identidad costarricense. Se realiza una investigación historiográfica de los aportes étnicos, culturales, económicos y sociales de las sucesivas inmigraciones al país llegadas de Europa, Asia y África. Asimismo, se demuestra como estas migraciones moldearon la identidad nacional costarricense y fueron parte esencial de su desarrollo como país, abarcando el período de 1840 a 1940.es-ES
