dc.descriptionEl presente artículo tiene por finalidad hacer una breve reflexión en torno al conceptode la autonomía universitaria, tomando como marco de referencia el significado que eseconcepto ha tenido en la universidad latinoamericana, a partir de la Reforma Universitariade 1918, así como, la acepción que se le dio en Costa Rica con motivo de la creación de laUniversidad de Costa Rica, en 1940. Se abordan algunas de las principales cuestiones queen el presente han venido a tener una repercusión significativa para la universidad públicay por consiguiente, para la autonomía universitaria.es-ES
