Descripción :	El siguiente documento contiene la síntesis final del trabajo de investigación realizado al interior de la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga – UNAB, el cuál consistió en hacer un análisis del papel que desempeña el docente virtual en la dirección y orientación de procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Para poder obtener los resultados de nuestra investigación utilizamos tres instrumentos, una encuesta dirigida a los estudiantes, una entrevista dirigida al docente virtual, y finalmente un proceso de observación de un curso orientado por un docente de la UNAB Virtual. La síntesis final que a continuación se presenta, muestra los resultados del cruce de la información obtenida de los tres instrumentos mencionados anteriormente los cuales se diseñaron de tal manera que nos permitieran alcanzar este objetivo. INTRODUCCION 1 SINTESIS FINAL 2 BIBLIOGRAFIA 6 Especialización The following document contains the final synthesis of the research work carried out within the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga - UNAB, which consisted of making an analysis of the role played by the virtual teacher in the direction and orientation of teaching and learning processes. In order to obtain the results of our research, we used three instruments: a survey directed at students, an interview directed at the virtual teacher, and finally a process of observation of a course directed by a teacher from the Virtual UNAB. The final synthesis that is presented below shows the results of the crossing of the information obtained from the three instruments mentioned above, which were designed in such a way as to allow us to achieve this objective.
