dc.descriptionWe analyze a controversial text of De rerum natura (DRN) by Lucretius (V, 1161-1240). In it he wonders how the idea of ”‹”‹God arose among the primitives by offering two etiologies: A legitimate one (vv. 1169-1182), which states that it was through religious apparitions in dreams. And another not legitimate, the astral religiosity (1183-1240). The disqualification of this has been generalized by many editors throughout the text. We will not argue esoterically, or Freudian, or philosophically, we only record the autonomy of the first etiology through syntax of the text and the use of epicurean sources including the Herculaneum papyri.en-US
dc.descriptionAnalizamos un texto controvertido del De rerum natura (DRN) de Lucrecio (V, 1161-1240). En él se pregunta cómo surgió la idea de dios entre los primitivos ofreciéndose dos etiologí­as: Una legí­tima (vv. 1169-1182), que afirma que fue a través de las apariciones religiosas en sueños. Y otra no legí­tima, la religiosidad astral (1183-1240); la descalificación de ésta la han generalizado muchos editores a todo el texto. No argumentaremos de forma esotérica, ni freudiana, ni filosófica, sólo registramos la autonomí­a de la primera etiologí­a mediante la sintaxis del texto y la utilización de las fuentes epicúreas, incluidos los papiros de Herculano.es-ES
