Descripción :	Actualmente el uso educativo de las redes sociales es escaso entre los jóvenes universitarios limitándose solo a la búsqueda de amigos sin barreras culturales, historial fotográfico, comentarios rápidos, buscar grupos con afinidades, participar en juegos, comunicarse con la familia, quieren realizar todas las actividades por Internet como una realidad alternativa. Por esta última razón las redes sociales se han convertido en programas de ocio, sin tener en cuenta que son una oportunidad para el desarrollo de aprendizaje y trabajo colaborativo entre compañeros. En la sociedad actual vemos una necesidad de construcción de conocimiento en donde quizá el docente no es quien tenga la verdad absoluta sobre el tema a tratar, puesto que estas son una fuente inagotable de información, de grupos de estudio, de medios para corroborar lo expuesto por el docente, por tanto deben y pueden ser utilizadas como herramienta pedagógica para el docente. Esta investigación pretende identificar el estado actual del uso de las redes sociales en la educación superior y a su vez estructurar una propuesta para posteriormente implementar su uso pedagógico en un ambiente de aprendizaje. CONCLUSIONES 38 REFERENCIAS 41 Maestría Currently the educational use of social networks is scarce among young university students, limiting itself only to the search for friends without cultural barriers, photographic history, quick comments, looking for groups with affinities, participating in games, communicating with the family, they want to do all the activities online as an alternate reality. For this last reason, social networks have become leisure programs, without taking into account that they are an opportunity for the development of learning and collaborative work among colleagues. In today's society we see a need for the construction of knowledge where perhaps the teacher is not the one who has the absolute truth about the subject to be discussed, since these are an inexhaustible source of information, study groups, and means to corroborate the above by the teacher, therefore they should and can be used as a pedagogical tool for the teacher. This research aims to identify the current state of the use of social networks in higher education and in turn structure a proposal to later implement its pedagogical use in a learning environment.
