Descripción :	A comienzos de este siglo los términos generación X, generación Y, Baby Boomers, parecían encontrar cabida como una moda de denominar a un grupo de personas. Hubo varios estudios en diferentes campos de la academia, sin embargo, se pudo identificar una ausencia de estudios actuales en la educación que tuvieran que ver con los grupos generacionales y la importancia de las apreciaciones que éstos tienen de los PEI. Este estudio presenta los datos de una investigación cuantitativa, realizada bajo el enfoque de investigación descriptivo deductivo, el cual persigue como objetivo general: Analizar el PEI a partir de El Ciudadano UNAB, teniendo en cuenta las apreciaciones de los estudiantes de Posgrados de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales Humanidades y Artes. En la construcción del Marco Teórico se extrajeron los autores más sobresalientes en el ámbito internacional, nacional y local; de donde surgieron las Unidades de Análisis, las cuales se utilizaron tanto para la realización del instrumento metodológico (La Encuesta) tanto como para la Triangulación de los datos; pasado esto, a través de un muestro aleatorio simple, se determinó alcanzar el 20% de la muestra ya que la emergencia sanitaria Covid-19 obligó a la IES a realizar modificaciones curriculares lo que impidió poder hacer más amplia la participación, así que 53 estudiantes de Posgrado de la FCSHA UNAB respondieron la encuesta en línea, la cual pudo encontrar datos significativos sobre dos grupos generacionales los (X) 13% y los (Y) 85% con más presencia en la FCSHA, sus apreciaciones sobre sus preferencias condensadas en las unidades de análisis de esta investigación demuestran en suma, que el PEI UNAB es bien percibido por los estudiantes lo que merece una felicitación a la IES, sin embargo supone un reto igualmente por seguir manteniendo vivas estas apreciaciones estudiantiles positivas de estas generaciones y las que vienen, que permita el crecimiento de la institución con estos diálogos rizomáticos necesarios en la construcción continua de los PEI, y de esta manera poder contextualizar la educación a las necesidades que exija las nuevas dinámicas del mundo. There were several studies in different fields of the academy, however, it was possible to identify an absence of current studies in education that had to do with generational groups and the importance of the appreciations that they have of the PEI. This study presents the data of a quantitative research, carried out under the deductive descriptive research approach, which pursues the general objective: Analyze the PEI from El Ciudadano UNAB, taking into account the appreciations of Postgraduate students of the Faculty of Social Sciences Humanities and Arts. In the construction of the Theoretical Framework, the authors were extracted most outstanding at the international, national and local level; From where the Analysis Units arose, which were used both for the realization of the methodological instrument (The Survey) as well as for the Triangulation of the data; After this, through a simple random sample, it was determined to reach 20% of the sample since the Covid-19 health emergency forced the IES to make curricular modifications, which prevented it from doing more participation widens, so 53 FCSHA UNAB Postgraduate students responded to the online survey, which found significant data on two generational groups, the (X) 13% and the (Y) 85% with more presence in the FCSHA, their appreciations about their preferences condensed in the analysis units of this research show, in short, that the PEI UNAB is well perceived by students, which deserves congratulations to the IES, However, it is also a challenge to continue to keep alive these positive student appreciations of these generations and those to come, which allows the growth of the institution with these rhizomatic dialogues necessary in the continuous construction of the PEI, and in this way to be able to contextualize education to the needs demanded by the new dynamics of the world.
