| dc.description | La vida del ser humano es transitoria, pero se hace inmortal el hombre cuando deja una estela de ideas y el recuerdo de su vida creativa. Se nos fue el Dr. Alonso Carrascal Conde, pero estará para siempre entre nosotros porque fue un hombre de bien. Cuando el lunes terminaba yo mi clase por la tarde me encontré con el Dr. Jorge Eduardo Lamo, decano de la Facultad de Derecho de la UNAB y me dio la infausta noticia. No podía creerlo, porque a pesar de que el ilustre jurista se encontraba enfermo, todas las perspectivas eran positivas y estábamos seguros de que pronto estaría de nuevo entre nosotros. Lo conocí en mí ya lejana juventud cuando estudiábamos en el Colegio San Pedro Claver, después nos encontramos en Pamplona en el Colegio Provincial y más tarde fuimos compañeros en la Universidad Libre. Recibimos en el mismo día el diploma de abogados de manos del ilustre catedrático Gerardo Molina. | - |

Dr. Alonso Carrascal Conde left us, but he will be among us forever because he was a good man. When I finished my class in the afternoon on Monday, I met Dr. Jorge Eduardo Lamo, dean of the UNAB Law School, and he gave me the unfortunate news. I could not believe it, because despite the illustrious jurist being ill, all prospects were positive and we were sure that he would soon be among us again. I met him in my distant youth when we were studying at the San Pedro Claver College, then we met in Pamplona at the Provincial College and later we were classmates at the Free University. On the same day, we received the law degree from the illustrious professor Gerardo Molina. | - |
