| dc.description | Higher education in Spain is in a constant process of transformation and this affects the teaching and research staff in their work and life. Our aim has been to deepen on the social problems experienced by researchers and teachers, identifying and analyzing the factors that determine and explain their strategies for dealing with academic career. We try to analyze their careers and labour strategies, academic and vital, so to understand, from his or her point of view, through their experiences, the transformations of the Spanish university system and the effects these have on the lives of those who undertake the academic career. | en-US |
| dc.description | La enseñanza superior en España se encuentra en un proceso de transformación constante y esto afecta al personal docente e investigador, en su trabajo y en su vida. Nuestro propósito ha sido profundizar en la problemática social que viven los/as investigadores y docentes, identificando y analizando los factores que determinan y explican sus estrategias para enfrentar la carrera académica. El objeto concreto de este estudio de caso son también las y los investigadores y profesores jóvenes: tratamos de caracterizar sus trayectorias y estrategias laborales, académicas y vitales para comprender, desde su punto de vista y a través de sus experiencias, las transformaciones del sistema universitario español y los efectos que estas tienen sobre las vidas de quienes emprenden la carrera académica.
