| dc.description | El acelerado aumento del flujo migratorio de población proveniente de Venezuela hacia Colombia, ha representado un importante desafío para país, particularmente, en términos de establecer las características distintivas de quienes arriban al territorio. Los Departamentos de destino o tránsito de migrantes, como el Departamento de Santander, no escapan a esta realidad, por ello, desde el año 2017, el Instituto de Estudios Políticos de la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, ha estudiado el perfil de los migrantes en la región, que ha permitido aproximarse a las condiciones en las que se encuentra esta población, con la finalidad de comprender el fenómeno migratorio de cara a las transformaciones políticas, económicas y sociales, que surgen a raíz de la diáspora venezolana en tierras Santandereanas. El presente documento compila los hallazgos más significativos de un extenso estudio titulado Caracterización de la población migrante proveniente de Venezuela al Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga que corresponde a la segunda fase de la caracterización en los cuatro municipios que conforman el Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga (Bucaramanga, Floridablanca, Piedecuesta y Girón). | - |
| dc.description | The rapid increase in the migratory flow of the population from Venezuela to Colombia has represented an important challenge for the country, particularly in terms of establishing the distinctive characteristics of those who arrive in the territory. The departments of destination or transit of migrants, such as the Department of Santander, do not escape this reality, therefore, since 2017, the Institute of Political Studies of the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, has studied the profile of migrants in the region, which has allowed us to approach the conditions in which this population finds itself, in order to understand the migratory phenomenon in the face of the political, economic and social transformations that arise as a result of the Venezuelan diaspora in Santanderean lands. This document compiles the most significant findings of an extensive study entitled Characterization of the migrant population from Venezuela to the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area, which corresponds to the second phase of the characterization in the four municipalities that make up the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area (Bucaramanga, Floridablanca , Piedecuesta and Girón). | - |
