Descripción :	The following pages describe the evolution of a series of associations devoted to the promotion of culture in San Sebastian during the Franco regime. I have tried to reconstruct the evolution of the associative network that was maintained in the city during the decades of dictatorship, focusing on the kind of culture they promoted and the image of Spain that their cultural activity reflected. One of the questions these pages try to answer is the role played by regional identities in this context. The hypothesis put forward here is that through the study of cultural practices we can shed light on the processes of acquisition of identities —national or regional—, which developed in the associative networks of Carlism, Regional Associations and the Guipuscoan Cultural Circle. The outcome of this research shows to what extent these were three different associative models, which promoted diverse identifications and images of the nation, although the regional ingredient was present in all of them. Las siguientes páginas describen la evolución de una serie de asociaciones dedicadas a la promoción de la cultura en San Sebastián durante el franquismo. Se ha tratado de reconstruir lo que sucedió con parte del tejido asociativo que se mantuvo en la ciudad durante las décadas de la dictadura, poniendo especial interés en el tipo de cultura que promovían y la imagen de España que se reflejaba en su actividad. Una de las cuestiones que se plantean es el peso de las identidades regionales en este contexto. Se parte de la hipótesis de que a través del estudio de sus prácticas culturales podemos llegar a conocer los procesos de adquisición de identidades, nacionales o regionales, que se desarrollaron en los espacios asociativos del carlismo, las casas regionales y el Círculo Cultural Guipuzcoano. Los resultados del estudio muestran hasta qué punto se trata de tres modelos asociativos diferentes, que dieron lugar a procesos de identificación e imágenes de la nación diversos, si bien el ingrediente regional forma parte de todos ellos.
