dc.descriptionJuan Carlos Pérez Rendón's research work is part of the efforts made in recent years by historians to break with the essentialist image that largely accompanied the regional studies of Antioquia, of considering the Antioquia region as a given territory, that had always been present. Thus, unaware that the regions are basically a process under construction, where natural, social, economic and political factors intervene, which finally configure a territoriality.-
