Descripción :	The present study aims to analyze the perspectives of work for re-education in the prison system. The study is based on the methodology of Minayo (1994), which identifies a research cycle composed of an exploratory phase, the field work and the treatment of the collected material. The exploratory phase and the field research phase were limited to capturing and revealing the ontological perspective of the subject who entered the prison system and had the opportunity to join the project Beyond Beyond Prisons. The interviews took place at the Darcy Ribeiro University campus, in the period from October to November 2019. That said, work is found as a central point of the research as a way to resolve the alienation and estrangement of individuals within the prison, as well as their perspectives for the social coexistence of the graduate, realizing that work works as an effective connection to reduce recidivism indices and transform the individual ontologically. It is concluded in this way that the transformation of the prison structure is essential so that, in addition to fulfilling the social function of the sentence, it provokes the individual in his autonomy, responsibility and social inclusion, through working on the ontology of the issue, to the point of to verify how such biases behave in the practical and empirical field. O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar as perspectivas do trabalho para o reeducando no sistema prisional. O estudo baseia-se na metodologia de Minayo (1994), que identifica um ciclo de pesquisa composta por uma fase exploratória, o trabalho de campo e o tratamento do material coletado. A fase exploratória e a de pesquisa de campo se delimitou a captar e revelar a perspectiva ontológica do sujeito que entrou no sistema carcerário e teve a oportunidade de ingressar no projeto Para Além das Prisões. As entrevistas ocorreram no campus Universitário Darcy Ribeiro, no período de outubro e novembro de 20191. Posto isso, encontra-se como ponto central da pesquisa o trabalho como forma de dirimir a alienação e estranhamento dos indivíduos dentro do cárcere, bem como suas perspectivas para a convivência social do egresso, percebendo que o trabalho funciona como uma conexão eficaz para diminuir os índices de reincidência e transformar ontologicamente o indivíduo. Conclui-se dessa forma que é imprescindível a transformação da estrutura do cárcere para que, além de cumprir a função social da pena, provoque o individuo na sua autonomia, responsabilidade e inclusão social, por meio do trabalho na ontologia da questão, a ponto de verificar como tais vieses se comportam no campo prático e empírico. http://id.caicyt.gov.ar/ark:/s25912755/yfk9jftvu
