| Descripción : | En el presente artículo analizaremos el significado que tiene la Bandera de la Paz, creada por el pintor Nicholas Roerich en la década de 1930, en el marco del pensamiento del esoterismo occidental y para los creyentes del movimiento Nueva Era en San Carlos de Bariloche. Luego de tratar aspectos teóricos del movimiento y su manifestación en la ciudad, abordaremos el origen del estandarte y el significado otorgado por su creador para, finalmente, focalizarnos en la irrupción del símbolo, su significado y el proceso de visibilización del movimiento Nueva Era en el espacio local. Las fuentes analizadas fueron tratadas metodológicamente considerando la hermenéutica histórica, la historia oral y el análisis discursivo, incorporando fuentes digitales. http://id.caicyt.gov.ar/ark:/s18537081/agfs39rh7 In this article we will analyze the meaning of the Banner of Peace, created by the painter Nicholas Roerich in the 1930s, within the framework of western esotericism and for the believers of the New Age movement in San Carlos de Bariloche. After dealing with theoretical aspects of the movement and its manifestation in the city, we will address the origin of the banner and the meaning given by its creator, to finally focus on the emergence of the symbol, its meaning and the process of making the New Age movement visible in the local space. The analyzed sources were treated methodologically considering historical hermeneutics, oral history and discursive analysis, incorporating digital sources. |
