| Descripción : | O trabalho analisa as transformações sobre a estrutura produtiva e sobre o emprego, em decorrência do surgimento do novo ciclo tecnológico da economia capitalista mundial, iniciado na década de setenta. O estudo mostra também os efeitos e as tendências da realocação das atividades produtivas a partir da formação de blocos mundiais de comércio, dos quais a América Latina está ausente. Os fatores externos e Internos que dificultam o processo de modernização destes países são analisados. Com relação ao Brasil, o trabalho revela que a agropecuária foi a responsável pela manutenção do nível de produtividade média do trabalho, e que foi graças ao terciário que o nível de emprego foi mantido. The paper analyses the transformations of the productive structure and of employment, due to the emergence of a new technological cycle in the world economy, starting In the Seventies. The study also shows the effects and tendencies of the relocation of productive activities resulting from the formation of world trade blocks, from which Latin America is absent. External and internal factors which render the modernization process difficult in these countries are analyzed. As regarding Brazil, the paper reveals that agriculture was responsible for the maintenance of the level of labour productivity and that it was thanks to the tertiary that the level of employment was maintained. |
