With the ninetieth anniversary of the signature of the Lei Áurea (Golden Law) the figure of Isabel, the Princess, is remembered here through her three visits to Pernambuco. She comments her impressions about Recife, Olinda and the inhabitants, in letter to her parents, where found all the informations published here. A l’occasion du 90 ème anniversaire de la Lei Aurea (la Loi Dorée) (1) l’auteur rappelle la personnalité de la princesse Isabelle en étudiant ses trois visites à Pernambuco.
