Descripción :	La relación entre las fuerzas productivas y la naturaleza constituye una dimensión esencial de la interpretación materialista de la historia de Marx. Esta interpretación es, a la vez que materialista, naturalista. El concepto de fuerzas productivas está construido desde la naturaleza y ésta es entendida y conceptualizada a partir del desarrollo de aquéllas. La caída tendencial de la cuota de ganancia encierra en su contenido el derrotero posible que sigue la relación entre fuerzas productivas y naturaleza dentro del capitalismo. La mediación clave entre ambas, el trabajo, como categoría transhistórica, debe ser distinguida de su configuración histórica de trabajo enajenado, para poder rescatar a dicha relación del sometimiento bajo el capital en el que se encuentra. The relationship between the productive forces and nature is an essential dimension of Marx’s materialist interpretation of history. This interpretation is, a t the same time, materialistic a nd naturalistic. The concept of productive forces is constructed from nature, and nature is understood and conceptualized from the development of such forces. The tendential fall in the rate of profit encloses in its content the possible course that the relation between productive forces and nature follows within capitalism. The key mediation between both, work, as a transhistorical category, must be distinguished from its historical configuration as alienated work, in order to rescue such relationship from the subjection under capital in which it finds itself.
