| dc.description | ¿Tiene sentido para la izquierda volver a Marx? El contexto que lega el neoliberalismo es estructuralmente adverso para releerlo. A pesar de ello, el derrumbe de este modelo despierta el interés por volver a él. La opresión actual crea la posibilidad de comprender innovadoramente los argumentos de la crítica total de la sociedad burguesa. Sin embargo, la reforma del neoliberalismo empuja hacia un falso dilema: atender pragmáticamente sólo las nuevas tareas inmediatas y urgentes o bien las necesidades generales y de largo plazo. Como ambas son necesarias, la solución a la antinomia obliga a recordar el contexto revolucionario que forjó la necesidad inmediata de esta crítica teórica de la sociedad. Para zanjar la creencia de que la izquierda actual padece una crisis por falta de referentes, se explicita cómo esta crítica total del presente es necesariamente una crítica total de la historia que define perspectivas de actuación en el corto y largo plazo. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Does it make sense for the left return to Marx? The context that neoliberalism bequeaths is structurally adverse to re-read it. Despite this, the collapse of neoliberalism arouses the interest to return to it. The current oppression creates a unique possibility to comprehend innovatively the most complex arguments of the total critique of bourgeois society. However, the reform of neoliberalism pushes towards a false dilemma: pragmatically addressing only the immediate and urgent new tasks instead of the general and long-term needs. As both are necessary, the solution to the antinomy forces us to remember the revolutionary context that forged the immediate need for this theoretical criticism of society. To settle the belief that the current left suffers a crisis due to lack of referents, it is explained how this total critique of the present is necessarily a total critique of history that defines perspectives of action in the short and long term. | en-US |
