Descripción :	Con el presente artículo se pretende realizar un ejercicio reflexivo entorno a la tarea que tiene la escuela sobre la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la cultura ciudadana de sus niñas y niños.  Siguiendo este propósito, se asume primero temáticamente la comprensión del desarrollo del desarrollo social de los niños y las niñas a partir de los ambientes de conocimiento social y la descripción de los agentes socializadores de los niños y las niñas. Estos agentes son la familia, la escuela, el docente, los compañeros, los medios de comunicación y las Tic.  Teniendo estos referentes, se presenta a la escuela como el escenario de aprendizaje para la cultura ciudadana. Para tal efecto, se reflexiona sobre las adaptaciones sociales de los ambientes violentos y agresivos en las Instituciones Escolares, la construcción del clima escolar y el valor de los ambientes escolares como educadores para convivir ciudadanamente con el entorno social This article aims to carry out a reflective exercise around the school's task of teaching and learning the civic culture of its children. Following this purpose, the understanding of the development of the social development of boys and girls from the social knowledge environments and the description of the socializing agents of boys and girls are assumed thematically first.  These agents are the family, the school, the teacher, colleagues, the media and the ICT. Having these references, the school is presented as the learning scenario for the citizen culture. For this purpose, it reflects on the social adaptations of violent and aggressive environments in School Institutions, the construction of the school climate and the value of school environments as educators to coexist citizenly with the social environment.
