Descripción :	The document is based on an ongoing investigation and presents the balance of the investigations carried out in Colombia on political culture and education. The studies are grouped from three trends related to: 1. The historical formation of political culture and education. 2. Political culture from participatory and democratic citizenship. 3. Political culture and its relationship with violence and peace, which allow mapping the theoretical methodological orientations on the subject and the projections for future research. El escrito parte de una investigación en curso y presenta el balance de las investigaciones realizadas en Colombia sobre cultura política y educación. Los estudios son agrupados desde tres tendencias relacionadas con: 1. La formación histórica de la cultura política y educación. 2. La cultura política desde la ciudadanía participativa y democrática. 3. La cultura política y su relación con la violencia y la paz, que permiten mapear las orientaciones teórico-metodológicas en el tema y las proyecciones para futuras investigaciones.
