Título :	Tenencia de la tierra, movilidad y ejido: un caso en tierra caliente veracruzana

Descripción :	A través de un estudio de caso, el artículo pretende mostrar la dinámica del ejido a la luz de los pronósticos del fin de esa institución agraria luego de las modificaciones al artículo 27° constitutional. El estudio retoma un periodo largo, desde la formación del ejido hasta el presente. Señala los procesos demovilidad de la población, la apropiación del espacio ejidal y las formas que ha asumido la lucha por la tierra después de la dotación. Destaca el doble proceso de consolidación del ejido como institución: por un lado, su capacidad para incluir a poblaciones migrantes y, por otro, para expulsar habitantesque inician la reproducción del ejido en otros espacios, físicos y sociales.Land Tenure, Mobility, and the Ejido: A Case Study in Veracruz Hotlands By means of a case study, the article seeks to tease out aspects of the permanence and renewal of the Mexican ejido in light of predictions, arising from the reforms made to article 27 of the Constitution, which indicate its end. The study covers the long term from when the ejido was formed, to the present. Attention is drawn to the mobility of the population, the way in which ejidal space is constructed, and how after the land grant, the struggle for land continues. The article underlines a double process: on the one hand, the consolidation of the ejido as an institution able to absorb migrant workers, while, on the other, expelling others who in turn reproduce the ejido in new physical and social spaces.
