Descripción :	The objective of this research is to identify the strategic actions of Marca Colombia regarding Foreign Direct Investment during the period 2010-2015, through a mixed methodological approach -qualitative and quantitative-, to­gether with documentary analysis and descrip­tive statistics. In this way, we establish whether the Colombian State has decrees, entities, and programs that encourage foreigners to invest in the country, and whether the proposal of the Country Brand, which has been rising in the Country Brand indicator, has generated fluctuations in FDI from the point of view of territory-based marketing. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo identificar las acciones estratégicas de Marca Colombia en torno a la inversión extranjera directa durante el período 2010-2015, por me­dio de un enfoque metodológico mixto –cuali­tativo y cuantitativo– en conjunto con análisis documental y de estadística descriptiva. Para así establecer si el Estado colombiano cuenta con decretos, entidades y programas que incen­tiven a los extranjeros a invertir en el país, al igual que señalar si la propuesta de Marca País que ha desarrollado puntos positivos en el in­dicador de Country Brand, ha generado desde el marketing territorial fluctuaciones en la IED.
