The present work is conceived from a geographical education committed to the causes in defense of the violated rights that women in the world undertake. In this case, the focus is on a territory in Central Asia, Afghanistan, which occupied the center of theworld scene when the Taliban returned to power in 2021. The measures implemented limit the rights of citizens in general and especially threaten the integrity of women. In this context, this group and its actions have assumed a prominent role by enunciatingand denouncing the modes of domination within the patriarchal system, based on ideological and socioeconomic systems of male domination. The intention of this writing is to approach those, "other" realities that are not alien to those of many womenin different spaces and historical times. From the teaching of Geography and from the mainstreaming of this problem with the perspective of gender and human rights, the testimonies of women artists and human rights defenders are investigated with the purpose of knowing and interpreting their realities.El presente trabajo se concibe a partir de una educación geográfica comprometida con las causas en defensa de los derechos vulnerados que emprenden las mujeres en el mundo. En este caso se hace foco en un territorio de Asia Central, Afganistán, que ocupó el centro de la escena mundial cuando en 2021 retornan al poder los talibanes. Las medidas implementadas limitan los derechos de la ciudadanía en general y especialmente atentan contra la integridad de las mujeres. En este contexto, este colectivo y sus acciones han asumido un rol destacado a partir de enunciar y denunciar los modos de dominación dentro del sistema patriarcal, basado en sistemas ideológicos y socioeconómicos de dominación masculina. La intención de este escrito es la de acercarnos a esas “otras” realidades que no son ajenas a las de muchas mujeres en diferentes espacios y tiempos históricos. Desde la enseñanza de la Geografía y a partir de transversalizar esta problemática con la perspectiva de género y derechos humanos, se indaga en testimonios de mujeres artistas y defensoras de los derechos con el propósito de conocer e interpretar sus realidades.
