The Covid-19 pandemic constitutes the greatest anomaly faced by global society so far in the XXI century and there is still an intense debate about how much impact it could have on the stability of the world order, in particular, on the neoliberal model. For now, the defiant and delusional positions of Donald Trump, from the imperial capital and Jair Bolsonaro, from the Latin American backyard, as well as the ambivalent and erratic European unity, seem to row against the current in a global geopolitical sea in which Russia, China and other countries have been careful to maintain a prudent and proactive position in the face of the pandemic and international cooperation. The global tension is and continues to be placed on the state of the world economy once the overcoming of the pandemic is clear, the production and distribution of the vaccine for future treatment, but, above all, on how interests are rearranged imperialists in the post-pandemic world. From our shores, we maintain that the contributions of the reflections on the situation that have been made by various intellectuals around the world cannot be neglected, not only by those who read a deep crisis that threatens the stability of the neoliberal model but also by those who warn about it. of the resilient capacity of capitalism. This article offers a reading from Colombia, trying to highlight the crudest manifestations of political, social and economic events during the pandemic, calling attention to the worsening of the socioeconomic crisis and violence against people and nature, which constitutes evidence, not only of the spatially differentiated impact of the pandemic on a global scale, but of the strengthening of the neoliberal model, at least in Colombia. | en |
| dc.description | La pandemia del Covid-19 constituye hasta lo que va corrido del siglo XXI la mayor anomalía afrontada por la sociedad global y sigue en intenso debate qué tanto impacto podría tener sobre la estabilidad del orden mundial, de manera particular, sobre el modelo neoliberal. Por ahora las desafiantes y delirantes posturas de Donald Trump, desde la capital imperial y Jair Bolsonaro, desde el patio trasero latinoamericano, así como la ambivalente y errática unidad europea, parecen remar a contracorriente en un mar geopolítico global en el que Rusia, China y otros países se han cuidado de mantener una posición prudente y proactiva frente a la pandemia y la cooperación internacional. La tensión mundial está y sigue puesta en el estado en que quede la economía mundial una vez sea clara la superación de la pandemia, la producción y distribución de la vacuna para su tratamiento a futuro, pero, sobre todo, en cómo se reacomoden los intereses imperiales en el mundo pospandemia. Desde nuestra orilla, sostenemos que no se pueden despreciar los aportes de las reflexiones que sobre la coyuntura han sido hechas por diversos intelectuales de todo el mundo, no solo de quienes leen una crisis profunda que amenaza la estabilidad del modelo neoliberal sino de quienes advierten acerca de la capacidad resiliente del capitalismo. En el presente artículo se ofrece una lectura desde Colombia, tratando de destacar las manifestaciones más crudas del acontecer político, social y económico durante la pandemia, llamando la atención acerca de la agudización de la crisis socioeconómica y de la violencia contra las personas y la naturaleza, lo cual constituye una evidencia, no solo del impacto espacialmente diferenciado de la pandemia a escala global sino del fortalecimiento del modelo neoliberal, al menos en Colombia. | es |
