| dc.description | RESUMEN: En el siguiente artículo se indaga por la relación entre los imaginarios religiosos y la construcción de la identidad local a través de las representaciones visuales religiosas, la recurrencia con la que se encuentran en el pueblo, su disposición espacial y las formas como las personas las conciben como parte de su vida cotidiana. Para llevar a cabo la investigación se elaboraron mapas, se tomaron fotografías y se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad, lo que permitió establecer, por un lado, la mayor recurrencia de algunos íconos frente a otros, y por otro, que la religiosidad es un elemento de gran importancia para todos los habitantes de Ciudad Bolívar. Sin embargo, hay diferentes maneras de vivir y representar esta religiosidad, lo cual tiene incidencias en la manera de concebirse a sí mismo y a los demás. La antropología debe, entonces, tener presente la idea de la religión como un elemento que hace parte la construcción identitaria de una comunidad, ya que influye en la manera como se vive la vida diaria y puede ayudar a comprender o interpretar otros fenómenos sociales. | |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: This article inquires for the relation between religious imaginaries and the construction of local identity through visual representations of religiousness, recurrence in which these are found in the town, it´s spatial disposition and the different forms how people conceives them as part of their daily life. For the investigation, there were maps elaborated, pictures taken and interviews made, to establish, on one hand, the recurrence of some icons above others and, on the other hand, that religiousness is an element of great importance for the people of Ciudad Bolívar. Even though, there are different ways of living and representing this religiousness, and this has an effect in how is the individual conceived and how does he conceives his community. Anthropology must maintain the idea of religion as an element that has influence in the construction of identity of a community, and can help the comprehension or interpretation of other social issues. | |
