The introduction of pluralist notions of sexuality and reproduction, promoted by the feminist and LGBTTI movements in public contexts (national and international), reflected the way in which the discussions and institutions, formerly set in the private sphere, entered the public and governmental agenda and the international human rights institutions. This new scenario generated strong tensions around the discursivities that are involved in the national and international human rights debates. Incorporating the discussions related to a pluralistic sexual agenda in terms of "rights" implies a series of tensions and challenges. Taking these dimensions into account, this paper seeks to understand differentes aspects of the used of the legal discourses by religious conservatives actors, against the recognition of the right to sexual and reproductive health and the right to same sex marriage in Argentina. In this opportunity, we focous on the used of three legal discourses: the right to life since conception, the right to conscientious objection and the affectation of the rights of children and young people.La puesta en los ámbitos públicos, nacionales e internacionales, de nociones pluralistas de sexualidad y reproducción promovidas por los movimientos feministas y LGBTTI reflejó cómo discusiones e instituciones, otrora del ámbito privado, entraron a la agenda pública, gubernamental y a las instituciones internacionales de derechos humanos. Este ingreso generó fuertes tensiones en torno a las discursividades en el ámbito de los derechos humanos consagrados nacional e internacionalmente. Incorporar las discusiones dentro de una agenda sexual pluralista en términos de “derechos” importa una serie de tensiones y desafíos. Esta labor consiste en dilucidar los distintos tipos de saberes que entran en juego en el discurso legal, dinámicas que en diversos casos quedan veladas por de las narrativas de universalidad y abstracción que rigen gran parte de las concepciones del “derecho” en tanto discurso social. Considerado estas dimensiones, este trabajo busca comprender cómo se han usado los discursos sobre el derecho a la vida desde la concepción, el derecho a la objeción de conciencia y la afectación de los derechos de niños/as y jóvenes, por parte de los sectores religiosos católicos contrarios a las políticas vinculadas con el reconocimiento del derecho a la salud sexual y reproductiva y el cambio de ley por el cual se habilitó el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo en 2010, en la Argentina.
