dc.description	Referente a la historia de las inmigraciones en la parte norteña de la cuenca de Puebla-Tlaxcala ( México) durante el posclásico no existen fuentes escritas con datos detallados; unicamente en Muñoz Camargo encontramos, para Tlaxcala, unas someras informaciones. Por contra están bien cubiertas las fuentes que informan sobre las etnias inmigrantes en Cuauhtinchan (en el sur de la cuenca) y en Cholula. Chimalpahin es el autor de las correspondientes descripciones sobre la region de Chalco, colindante por el oeste. Para Tlaxcala y Huexotzinco, un analisis comparativo de un inventario de los topónimos de mediados del siglo XVI ( Padrones de Tlaxcala, Matrícula de Huexotzinco) permite establecer, en parte, una atribución -por lo menos originalmente- étnica a las entidades poblacionales. Los datos posibilitan además esclarecer las posiciones sociopolíticas de algunos de los grupos étnicos dentro de los estados prehispánicos.	es-ES
dc.description	No written sources exist which provide detailed information on Postclassic immigration into the northern part of the Valley of Puebla/Tlaxcala; only some short notes by Muñoz Camargo are extant. The southern part of the Valley and Cholula are historically well covered by sources from Cuauhtinchan. The writings of Chimalpahin offer an ample picture of the different immigrating ethnic groups into the Chalco region to the west. The comparative analysis of the place-names from Tlaxcala and Huexotzinco from mid-16th century administrative sources (Padrones de Tlaxcala, Matrícula de Huexotzinco) offers the opportunity to fill in this gap with partial information on at least ethnic origins. The data also permit placement of some of the ethnic groups within the socio-political setting of the Prehispanic states.	en-US
