dc.description	This article is the result of a case study on the Union of Assemblies of Communities (UAC), a socioenvironmental meeting created in 2006 from the confluence of several assemblies located mainly in the Argentine territory. The aim of this article is to trace a genealogy of the UAC and distinguish the main characteristics of its form of organization, which make it a unique experience in the country.It stands out its double functioning as a network and as a meeting, the diversity of actors and socioenvironmental problems addressed, the rotation and its scope beyond the local, among others. Regarding the methodology, this work is part of an exploratory research on a poorly researched case, and therefore basically aims to bring the reader closer to the subject, through a qualitative methodology and sources of information such as the material of the organization itself, observations and interviews, basically aimed at describing the main characteristics of the UAC, its emergence and its context, respecting the vision of the social actors involved in it.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo es el resultado de un estudio de caso sobre la Unión de Asambleas de Comunidades (UAC), una reunión socioambiental creada en 2006 a partir de la confluencia de varias asambleas ubicadas principalmente en el territorio argentino. El objetivo de este artículo es trazar una genealogía de la UAC y distinguir las principales características de su forma de organización, que la convierten en una experiencia única en el país. Se destaca su doble funcionamiento como red y como reunión, la diversidad de actores y problemas socioambientales abordados, la rotación y su alcance más allá de lo local, entre otros. En cuanto a la metodología, este trabajo forma parte de una investigación exploratoria sobre un caso escasamente investigado y, por lo tanto, pretende básicamente acercar al lector al tema a través de una metodología cualitativa y de fuentes de información tales como el material de la propia organización, observaciones y entrevistas orientadas básicamente a describir las principales características de la UAC, su emergencia y su contexto, respetando la visión de los actores sociales involucrados en ella.	es-ES
