Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el contenido de información turística y de cómo se manejan actualmente los medios digitales en el cantón General Villamil Playas.En el cantón General Villamil Playas el sector más frecuentado tanto por locales como por turistas es la cabecera cantonal ya que cuenta con infraestructura y servicios básicos en todos los aspectos, cuenta con una amplia variedad gastronómica y tiene las principales playas del cantón como son Playa Humboldt, Playa Paraíso, Puerto Engabao, existen otros atractivos naturales en los alrededores de la cabecera cantonal los cuales no son reconocidos por la falta de promoción en los medios digitales, la falta de un buen análisis y manejo de los medios digitales públicos y privados para la promoción de todos estos lugares lleva a realizar esta investigación.Este trabajo busca implementar la propuesta con el fin de que los interesados, los cuales son: habitantes del cantón obtengan beneficios para el crecimiento socioeconómico y a los turistas causar interés para que visiten el cantón. Para esto es importante la participación del sector público, para que implementen medios digitales con información actual, verídica e interactuar con las personas interesadas para que así, tanto nacionales y extranjeros desee visitar el cantón.  ABSTRACTThe purpose of this project aims to analyze the content of tourist information and how the digital media is currently managed in the beaches of General Villamil Playas. This place is the most visited for both local and international tourists is the Cantonal Head as it counts with infrastructure and basic services in all aspects: it has a wide gastronomic variety and includes the principal beaches of the canton such as Playa Humboldt, Playa Paraíso, Puerto of Engabao.There are other natural attractions in the surroundings of the Cantonal Head, which are not recognized because the lack of promotion in the digital media as well a good analysis & management of the public and private digital marketing. This project looks forward to implement the proposal where the inhabitants of the canton obtain benefits for socio-economic growth and tourists be interested about visiting the canton. In order for this to happen, the involvement of the public sector is important, to implement digital media with current, verified information that can interact with the people interested, so that both, national and foreign tourists wish to visit the canton.
