| dc.description | En la segunda mitad del siglo XIX las viñas de los diferentes países del mundo se vieron afectadas por la acción del insecto Philloxera Vastatrix, que atacó y causó estragos en los viñedos provocando la destrucción de gran parte de las plantaciones existentes, principalmente en Europa. Desde el punto de vista legal, los países europeos que vieron disminuidas sus viñas se reunieron y dieron origen a la llamada Convención de Berna en 1878, cuyo objetivo fundamental fue la de combatir al insecto que causaba la destrucción de los viñedos. Con este fin se acordaron diversas medidas legales que serían aplicadas tanto por los países miembros de dicho organismo internacional como aquellos que no pertenecían a él. | es-ES |
| dc.description | During the second half of the XIX century, the vineyards of different countries in the world were affected by the action of an insect called Phylloxera Vastatrix. It attacked and devastated the vineyards causing the destruction of a great part of the existing plantations, in Europe mainly. From the legal point of view the European countries whose vineyards were affected met and originated the Berne Convention in 1878. The main objective of this convention was to fight the insect that was causing the destruction of the vineyards. With this aim several legal actions were agreed which were to be applied by the member countries of such international organism, as well as by those that did not belong to it. | en-US |
