En el presente artículo nos interesa compartir algunas reflexiones críticas en relación a la ecología política urbana latinoamericana. A tal fin partimos de revisiones bibliográficas a modo de situar los debates, para luego detenernos en la sistematización de lo registrado durante IV Congreso Latinoamericano de Ecología Política, particularmente en el desarrollo de la Línea de discusión: Redes, urbanización y espacio, tanto en la modalidad presencial como virtual, como parte de la inclusión de un eje urbano. Con base en ello, nos focalizamos en ciertas reverberaciones de la ecología política en lo urbano a modo de resonancias, de la apertura a otros enfoques teórico-metodológicos que posibilitan maneras otras de construir conocimiento entre campos y entre saberes, no solo desde lo académico sino en relación con grupos y movimientos sociales. Consideramos que realizar este recorrido puede significar un aporte enriquecedor, tanto en clave de situar los debates actuales, como en poner de relieve el entramado que va construyendo la ecología política urbana.In this article we are interested in sharing some critical reflections in relation to Latin American urban political ecology. To this end, we start from bibliographical reviews in order to situate the debates, and then we stop in the systematization of what was registered during the IV Latin American Congress of Political Ecology, particularly in the development of the Line of Discussion: Networks, urbanization and space, both in the face-to-face and virtual modality, as part of the inclusion of an urban axis. Based on this, we focus on certain reverberations of political ecology in the urban as resonances, the opening to other theoretical-methodological approaches that enable other ways of building knowledge between fields and between knowledge, not only from academia but in relation to groups and social movements. We believe that this journey can be an enriching contribution both in terms of situating current debates and in highlighting new meaning to the framework that urban political ecology is building.
