este artigo propõe a compreensão da Tríplice Fronteira Argentina-Brasil-Paraguai (TF) como região internacional, em duas dimensões: local e global. A primeira diz respeito à articulação do território fronteiriço compartilhado pelos três Estados por meio de infraestrutura e fluxos de pessoas e mercadorias, criando uma dinâmica local de característica internacional. A segunda refere-se à contemporânea menção da TF como região relacionada aos novos temas da agenda internacional, devido aos desdobramentos dos fluxos de pessoas e mercadorias. O artigo vale-se de uma reflexão conceitual, de dados históricos e de uma contextualização do caráter dos fluxos verificados em consonância com a agenda internacional.This article proposes the comprehension of the Triple Frontier Argentina-Brazil-Paraguay (TF) as an international region, in two dimensions: local and global. The first one concerns the articulation of the border territory shared by the three States through infrastructure and flows of people and goods, which creates a local dynamic of international character. The second one refers to the contemporary mention of the Triple Frontier as a region related to the new themes of the international agenda, due to the unfolding of the flows of people and goods. The article uses a conceptual reflection, historical data and a contextualization of the character of the verified flows in consonance with the international agenda.
