| dc.description | Este artigo pretende discutir o reavivamento das relações entre Sociologia e História a partir de uma releitura de “Da divisão do trabalho social” de Èmile Durkheim e de textos sobre a tese da "ética protestante e o espírito do capitalismo” de Max Weber. Os autores argumentam que apesar de Durkheim e Weber não proporem objetivos comuns para a Sociologia e utilizarem distintamente o método comparativo, chegam a produzir uma sociologia historicamente informada ou, em outras palavras, mesmo uma Sociologia Histórica. This article intends to discuss the revival of the relation between Sociology and History from a rereading of the “The division of labour in society” by Émile Durkheim and from the work about the these on “The protestant ethic and the spirit of capitalism” by Max Weber. The authors argue that although Durkheim and Weber didn't propose equal purpose to Sociology, and use unlikely the comparative method, they get to engender a historically informed sociology or, in the other words, a Historical Sociology. | pt-BR |
