dc.description	Based on the experiences of two Syrian refugees who sought legal protection in the city of Fortaleza, this paper seeks to analyze the conflicts and perceptions of these actors regarding socialsuffering before, during, and after the refugee venture. The aim of the article is to understand the identity processes of refugees and the category of refugee, from a sociological perspective. Therefore, it is expected to contributeto the scientific debate and improve public policies on the subject.	en-US
dc.description	A partir das experiências de dois refugiados sírios que buscaram proteção legal na cidade de Fortaleza, o artigo analisa os conflitos e as percepções desses atores ao sofrimento social antes, durante e após o empreendimento de refúgio. O objetivo da reflexão é a compreensão dos processos identitários de refugiados e da categoria refúgio, em perspectiva sociológica. Espera-se, assim, contribuir com o debate científico e o aprimoramento das políticas públicas sobre o tema.	pt-BR
