| dc.description | La encuesta “Percepción sobre la participación y el proceso electoral municipal 2024” estuvo a cargo del equipo investigador del Programa Umbral Político del Instituto de Estudios Sociales en Población (IDESPO), de la Universidad Nacional (UNA), y se levantó en el Centro Tecnológico de Investigación Social (CETIS) del IDESPO, donde fueron recolectados los datos vía telefónica, entre los días 9 y 17 de febrero del 2024, bajo la supervisión del personal del CETIS. El objetivo de la encuesta es identificar las percepciones de la población costarricense respecto al proceso electoral municipal 2024, así como los elementos que pudieron incidir en su comportamiento electoral. El cuestionario empleado para este estudio estuvo conformado por quince preguntas, asociadas a las variables temáticas antes mencionadas; al mismo tiempo, se incluyen algunas variables de tipo sociodemográficas, como sexo, edad, nivel de escolaridad y la percepción de la condición económica del hogar, que permiten describir las características de la población encuestada. | |
| dc.description | The survey “Perception on aspects related to the 2024 municipal elections” was carried out by the research team of the Political Threshold Program of the Institute of Social Studies in Population (IDESPO), of the National University (UNA), and was carried out at the Technological Center of Social Research (CETIS) of IDESPO, where the data were collected by telephone, between February 9 and 17, 2024, under the supervision of CETIS staff. The objective of the survey is to identify the perceptions of the Costa Rican population regarding the 2024 municipal electoral process, as well as the elements that could influence their electoral behavior. The questionnaire used for this study was made up of fifteen questions, associated with the aforementioned thematic variables; at the same time, some sociodemographic variables are included, such as sex, age, level of education and the perception of the economic condition of the household, which allow us to describe the characteristics of the surveyed population. | |
