Descripción:
The article analyzes the principles and postulates of the neoliberal ideology as conceived and made public by world-renowned writer and journalist Mario Vargas Llosa, as well as the process followed in its formulation. It also discusses the inconsistencies of the neoliberal program he advanced as Peruvian right-wing presidential candidate in 1990, and his erratic campaign strategies, both of which factors contributed to his defeat before Alberto Fujimori.
