dc.description	By means of the analysis of the ideological dimension, this article proposes a theoretical reflection around the concept of identity, from which some methodological and empirical consequences are derived in order to consider the process of construction of social identities. The latter allows us to reconsider two central parameters for the study of identity: time and space. The latter are seen as the two basic ideological evidences by which culture forms and incorporates individuals, giving a social sense to their every day practices.
